As a music educator, I enjoyed helping make music accessible to children with learning disabilities. I found it extremely rewarding to help children with emotional and mental health challenges find a sense of belonging within musical organizations.”
She is a certified yoga instructor and has volunteered with organizations that strive to make yoga accessible to those needing unique modifications. In the past, she utilized trauma-sensitive yoga in the treatment of PTSD for veterans and their families.
